Summer Walk is a small private gated community in San Juan Capistrano, California four miles to the beach, and Dana Point Harbor. Residents enjoy many amenities, and beautiful views that this neighborhood has to offer.
Summer Walk was built in 2000 by The Olson Company and is one of the newer communities in the north area of the city. It is comprised of only 26 homes with an array of architectural styles from Spanish Colonial, to Bungalow. Homes feature three to five bedroom floor plans with two to three bathrooms and 1,661 to 2,517 square feet of living space. These houses offer attached garages and charming yards. The Home Owners Association dues are low and residents enjoy a private park area at the end of the neighborhood.
Public education is offered by the Capistrano Unified School District. Students may attend facilities like Viejo Elementary, as well as highly ranked Carl Hankey Middle School and Capistrano Valley High School. Some families choose one of the many private schools available in this city including Serra Catholic High School, St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, and Saddleback Valley Christian School. There are many colleges in this city including Saddleback College, and Soka University of America.
Residents are within minutes to recreation, stores, and restaurants. There are walking and equestrian trails nearby leading to the new dog park, and winery. There are several golf courses in San Juan Capistrano including Arroyo Trabuco Golf club to the northeast, and the Marbella Country Club to the southeast. Many shopping centers are in this vicinity including Mission Promenade, Plaza Del Obispo Shopping Center, Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center, and the Old Barn Antique Mall.
